Introduction:
Dr. Liu Dachuan previously served as Director of Ophthalmology at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University. He holds key social positions including membership in the Beijing Medical Association and standing director of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Beijing Medical Practitioners Association. He pioneered combined phacoemulsification and vitrectomy cataract surgery in China, having performed over 10,000 cataract, vitreoretinal, and related procedures.

Specializes in applying minimally invasive high-speed vitrectomy to treat complex retinal detachments such as giant retinal tears and multiple tears, as well as proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Utilizes advanced techniques including epiretinal membrane overlay and epiretinal membrane tamponade for large macular holes. Performs epiretinal membrane peeling with foveal preservation to treat macular schisis and refractory macular edema.
