Director Zhang Ying possesses expertise in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions, having performed over 15,000 surgeries. She specializes particularly in trauma orthopedics. Representative procedures include complex intra-articular fractures, complex pelvic and acetabular fractures; surgical management of osteomyelitis, nonunion, bone lengthening, and peripheral nerve injuries. He is proficient in post-traumatic hip, shoulder, and elbow joint replacements; revision arthroplasty for periprosthetic fractures; knee arthroscopy; hallux valgus correction; various free flap procedures; and conservative management of neck, shoulder, lumbar, and leg pain.

Formerly served as Deputy Director of the PLA Institute of Traumatic Orthopedics; Vice President and Director of Traumatic Orthopedics at a Grade A tertiary military hospital (National Key Clinical Specialty); Chief Trauma Specialist at a Grade A tertiary military hospital.
