Introduction:
Dr. Li Zijun served as Deputy Director of the Department of Gastroenterology and Deputy Director of the East Ward at the former Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital. He completed two and a half years of postdoctoral research and visiting scholar work at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital and the California Pacific Medical Center's Division of Hepatology and Gastroenterology and Interventional Endoscopy Center. In 2016, he was honored as the second recipient of the “Guangzhou Good Doctor” title. In 2017, he was recognized as a “Lingnan Famous Doctor.” In 2019, he received the Hurun Ping An Good Doctor Award.

Area Of Expertise:
Specializes in the medical and endoscopic treatment of chronic gastric disorders, intestinal diseases, fatty liver disease, pancreatitis, and pancreatic cancer.

Academic Achievements:
Published nearly 60 papers in SCI-indexed and domestic core journals, and co-authored or edited three books. Awarded two National Natural Science Foundation grants, one provincial second-class scientific research achievement award, and 12 municipal/provincial-level research funds and key projects. Served as a reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation and as a peer reviewer for the English journals Cancer Prevention Research and PLOS.
