Introduction:
Professor Kang Shijun pioneered the clinical application of radiofrequency ablation and PET-CT technology for lung tumors two decades ago, publishing internationally leading research findings. He completed two postdoctoral fellowships and served as a senior visiting scholar at the University of Chicago and the University of Illinois. He previously served as Deputy Director of the Oncology Department and Party Branch Secretary at Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University.

Specializes in treating various common malignant tumors by combining targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and minimally invasive treatments with traditional chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Possesses extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, hepatobiliary-pancreatic malignancies, and head and neck tumors.
Academic Achievements:
Professor Kang Shijun has led and participated in the completion of four National Natural Science Foundation projects, led the completion of three Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Program projects, and two Guangdong Provincial Medical Science and Technology.
