Introduction:
Dr. WU has long been dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and research of spinal disorders. He specializes in managing a wide range of spinal diseases and spinal cord injuries, with extensive experience in the surgical treatment of cervical spondylosis, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, and lumbar/leg pain. He possesses particularly solid theoretical knowledge and mature clinical skills in spinal deformity correction, nonfusion techniques, and minimally invasive spinal surgery. Annually, he performs over 300 complex spinal procedures. As a pioneering figure in China's minimally invasive spine surgery, he developed the extreme lateral interbody fusion (XLIF) technique in the country. Having personally performed over 1,000 XLIF procedures with consistently excellent outcomes, he has played a pivotal role in advancing and popularizing this minimally invasive approach within the field of spinal surgery.
