Quality Upgrade: Fresh Start in 6 Key Areas of Healthcare
Standing at this new starting point, Heyou Hospital officially launched its Quality Healthcare Upgrade Plan with 6 key areas for high-quality development, aiming to provide patients with a superior healthcare experience.
Cutting-Edge Medical Technology Upgrade:
The highly anticipated Proton and Heavy Ion Center has entered the beam commissioning stage, with clinical validation expected to begin in 2027.
As the first integrated proton & heavy ion treatment system in the Greater Bay Area and the second of its kind in China, the device utilizes radiation with the unique "Bragg Peak" physical property and sub-millimeter-level accuracy. It will provide nearly all solid tumor patients, particularly those with high-incidence cancers in Guangdong such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma and lung cancer, with a world-leading treatment option featuring precision targeting, non-invasive procedures, short treatment cycles, and minimal side effects.

Meanwhile, advanced surgical technologies such as spinal surgery robots and joint robots will be introduced to further enhance surgical precision. The successful performance of complex operations such as lymphatic-jugular vein bypass anastomosis for Alzheimer's disease and off-pump coronary artery bypass surgery have brought new hope to patients.
Smart Healthcare Services Upgrade:
Leveraging artificial intelligence, Heyou Hospital is building an AI Computing Center to comprehensively improve its service efficiency, precision, and patient experience.
Community Health Initiatives Upgrade:
The Hospital has expanded night clinics and specialty clinics, while advancing public health screening programs and cancer treatment assistance initiatives. In July, Heyou opened a rabies clinic and conducted its first air medical rescue drill, establishing a three-dimensional emergency response network. It will also keep working on public service initiatives such as the "Double Hundred Dream Fulfillment" project, "Heyou Benevolence Major Illness" program, and the "Orthopedics Care" initiative.

Enhanced Quality and Safety Assurance:
With the "hospital-department dual-level accountability system" at its core, Heyou is implementing a comprehensive quality management model that covers all processes and factors, reinforcing its safety foundation.
Clinical Research Breakthroughs:
Heyou has partnered with Soochow University to jointly establish the South China Clinical Center of the State Key Laboratory of Radiation Medicine and Protection, accelerating the translation of research achievements into clinical applications, thus providing strong support for medical advances.
Expanded International Cooperation:
Heyou has reached a substantive cooperation agreement with Mayo Clinic in the United States, engaging in in-depth collaboration across quality and safety, hospital management, nursing system, talent development, and digitalization. In the future, it will continue to expand cooperation, enabling deeper integration of high-quality global healthcare resources.

Looking Ahead: Ongoing Progress to Serve the People
The event also featured the launch of a new book Quality Shapes the Future: Records of Heyou Hospital's Pursuit of Healthcare Excellence. The unveiling ceremony was attended by Chen Jiesheng, Director of the Foshan Branch of Nanfang Media Group; Wang Jiguo, Deputy Director of the Foshan News Department of Nanfang Daily; Liu Jialin, Chief Editor of the Shunde All-Media Platform of Nanfang Daily; Li Li, Party Secretary and Director of the Management Board of Heyou International Health System; and Lu Jiade, Zheng Qijin, and Wang Jianming, Vice Presidents of Heyou Hospital.
